Brittany Mann joined The Ecclesial School at St. Alban’s in 2021 as the second-grade teacher and is entering her 16th year in education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Moody Bible Institute and holds a Florida State teacher’s certification (K–5th grade). She has previously taught grades one, three, and four in America, as well as internationally in Wuhan, China, and Hong Kong. For five years, she also taught English to elementary students online and worked in the human resources department in teacher training and curriculum development. While living in Louisville, Kentucky fourteen years ago, she was introduced to classical education when she taught at Highlands Latin School and developed curriculum for Memoria Press. Previous to living in Asia as an adult, her family resided in Russia and Germany growing up, giving her a deep love for languages, history, and cultures. Her favorite place in the world is Israel, where she studied during college, and she loves helping her students “see” the Bible through an Ancient Near Eastern lens!
She and her husband have two elementary-aged children, Eden and Titus, who enthusiastically love learning at the Ecclesial School. Their family is currently waiting to adopt another precious son, Asher, from China, and are owners of Hao Bao Bao Coffee Shop & Roastery in Sanford, donating their business’s profits to adoption grants and family preservation charities. They attend Grace Fellowship Church in Sanford, where they love learning about God’s truth, growing in fellowship with other believers, and serving the body with their gifts. In her free time, Brittany loves traveling, running, reading, and of course, coffee drinking!
