Jacquelyn Anderson

Jacquelyn Anderson is thrilled to be joining The Ecclesial School this year as a 3rd grade teacher at the Northland campus. She is a graduate of Saint Leo University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Biology. Jacquelyn began her teaching career 22 years ago in Special Education. As her family grew, Jacquelyn and her husband decided to enter into a season of homeschooling their children. With a deep desire for their children to develop a love for learning, God led them through research and prayer to implement the beauty of classical education into their home education. They successfully homeschooled for 13 years and enjoyed the opportunity to holistically invest in their children. During those years, Jacquelyn’s love for classical education led her to volunteer, teach, and ultimately become an Area Director for a homeschool program called Classical Conversations. In 2022, Jacquelyn and her family relocated to the central Florida area to pursue an amazing ministry opportunity. That same year, the Anderson’s decided that their homeschool journey had come to an end. Jacquelyn serves alongside her husband, Derwin, who is the Executive Pastor at Northland Church in Longwood. Derwin and Jacquelyn are the proud parents of Sebastian, Symone, Shiloh, and Sheridan Anderson.  She enjoys silence and solitude with Jesus, reading, expressive arts, watching movies, and spending time with her family.  Jacquelyn is excited for the opportunity to bring aspects of social emotional health and the virtue of classical education to her Christ-filled, engaging classroom. Mrs. Anderson looks forward to all that God has in store as she embarks on this new journey with The Ecclesial School’s staff, students, and families.
