Joseph Torres
Dr. Joseph E. Torres serves The Ecclesial School at Northland as the History and Bible Teacher for the Logic School and Academy. Originally from New York City, he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Theology and Apologetics from Corban University, an M.A. in Christian Thought from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida, and a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Alliance University (formerly Nyack College). Before his time at The Ecclesial Schools Initiative, he was a professor of Applied Ethics with the State College of Florida, Adult Studies at Belhaven University in Orlando, Florida, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies at Nyack College in New York City.
Dr. Torres has served as the editor and co-author, working alongside Dr. John M. Frame on Apologetics: A Justification of Christian Belief, (P&R Publishing). His writings have appeared in various platforms, including Truthxchange, the Jude 3 Project, Mere Orthodoxy, and the North American Mission Board. He lives in Altamonte Springs with his wife, daughter, and their pets.
