Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson joins The Ecclesial School team as Instructional Coach at the St. Alban’s campus. Having been blessed with very talented, kind, and engaging elementary school teachers, she decided at a young age she wanted to be a teacher too. She received her Master's degree in Elementary Education at the University of Florida, with a specialization in ESOL. After graduation, she returned home to Orlando and taught 3rd grade and Intermediate Math, followed by a year of teaching English in the Dominican Republic. Katie later became the children's ministry director at her church, where she enjoyed interacting with children, supporting parents, recruiting and training volunteers, and offering vision and direction to the ministry as a whole. She hopes that her experience as a parent, teacher, and director will allow her to bring invigorating support to teachers, students, and parents alike. She considers it a joy to join the mission of The Ecclesial School: expanding access to extraordinary Christian education.

Katie is married to Michael and they have four children who will all be attending The Ecclesial School this school year. Her main goal for the last decade has been to keep the tiny humans alive, but her renaissance is beginning!

When she isn't working out or playing tennis, she loves spending time with her family and friends at the beach or on the lake.
