Pam Johnson
Pam Johnson is the First Grade teacher for The Ecclesial School at St. Alban’s. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Colorado Christian University. Additionally, Pam has been trained as an Orton-Gillingham reading instructor for dyslexic and struggling readers. She has a passion for identifying at-risk children and helping them gain the tools necessary to be successful readers. When her children were young, God called her to become involved in classical education by homeschooling her own children. She became the Director of a classical education community within the Orlando area before joining The Ecclesial School.
Pam’s vision is for the classroom at The Ecclesial School to be a place where each child is “seen” and treated with dignity and respect as fellow image bearers of God. They are trained in knowledge through excellent curricula. They are also trained in Godly wisdom and character through daily morning prayer, personal relationships, and great stories.
Pam grew up as a child of missionary parents who served the Lord through Bible translation in Africa. Their initial language group was among the people of South Sudan. As a result of war in Sudan, Pam’s family moved to Kenya where she lived throughout her formative years. After high school graduation in Kenya, Pam moved to the United States and attended Bible College in Oregon where she met her husband, Matt. After migrating to several states, Matt and Pam settled in Orlando 22 years ago where they have raised four children; two are in high school and two are in college.
